Heart Attack

by lowes1 on May 9, 2010

www.nucleusinc.com This 3d medical animation shows a heart attack resulting from atherosclerosis, which is inflammation of an artery. It was designed to be an immersive experience to hold the viewer’s interest in this complex, slow-developing process. Every shot was conceptualized as a visual effect to evoke the sensation of a journey within a dynamic and diverse environment. Beginning with the probable cause, which is damage to the endothelial wall, the story progresses in detail through the stages of atherosclerosis concluding with the resulting damage to the heart. This was such an interesting video. Was pretty scary to know that we need to be exercising alot & eating much better than I have done for so many yrs. I need to change my ways & quit the cigarettes for sure.

im to active i run around to much and pass out

alexc475 May 9, 2010 at 8:23 pm

@DarthVantos kills your oxygen supply which slows down the rate at which your redblood cells collect oxygen, which can lead to a heart attack if a muscle in the heart doesnt recieve enough oxygen combined with bad cholestrol makes it even worse. dont smoke dont drink dont do drugs and become active daily, thats the key to living a longer life.

alexc475 May 9, 2010 at 8:31 pm

if you do cardiovascular excersise daily your chances of atherosclerosis combined with a low fat diet are very very low.

you can tell your heart to work better… Look in a mirror at your receptor and tell it to instruct your heart not to stop… it will work… at least for a little while…

I got scared watching this… :O I’m pretty sure I’m safe, at least for now; being that I’m young, don’t smoke, and at least *try* not to eat too many fatty foods.

@archiebunkerfan Yourwelcome! And ps..exercise is the way to go for that.. not just fight and keeps stress away but makes u feel pretty great all throughout the day and night.

archiebunkerfan May 10, 2010 at 2:44 am

… good, thanks. I also have to start working towards lowering and controlling that nasty stress anxiety. I see lots of people have that problem too. Thanks again.

asrsniperx May 10, 2010 at 2:48 am

@archiebunkerfan yeah we all know that feeling.. just keep in mind that the docs today are absolutely amazing and that you are in great hands have confidence in them i know i do..though i still get a tad scared of the hospital stuff :) ur not alone.

asrsniperx May 10, 2010 at 3:12 am

@aidy202 are you using any fat burning supplements right now or recently? if u have those can cause that to happen as well. good news is once u go off it it goes away. not instantly but within a few days to a few weeks depending. it happened to me and i to was worried. doctors did blood tests and physical etc but nothing came up negative. so i was with that issue for like a year or more (mild but still i got it from time to time) also look up the amino acid Acetyl L-carnitine it might help.

Romuluzz May 10, 2010 at 3:45 am

At least your comment helped me :)

I was scared about the same thing until I read your comment :)

So… Thanks for the info ;)
